About Kaity

Kaity Cairo is a Los Angeles based actor currently studying acting as an undergraduate at the University of California, Los Angeles.

She was born and raised in Sarasota, Florida where she graduated from Booker High School in the Visual and Performing Arts Theatre program. Since she moved to Los Angeles, Kaity has acted in short films, student films, and theatrical productions. Her most recent film credit is a horror student film called The Last Supper

Kaity recently graduated from the Advanced Acting Shakespeare summer course at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London. This was an extremely formative experience for developing her craft. She also is currently training at The Groundlings School of Improv in the improv track.

Additionally, Kaity is the founder and co-executive director of Bimbos Theatre Company, a student-led organization created to highlight and empower female voices in theater. One of the projects that she is most proud of is a cabaret benefit she led that raised money for Planned Parenthood in light of the overturning of Roe v. Wade.

Kaity Cairo adds a fresh perspective to the industry because she is a gen-z female voice with a deep passion for feminine representation in media, and  she possesses a passion for stories that explore those themes.

Some of her other passions outside of acting are marine conservation, scuba diving, classical film, and reading (her favorite book is Little Women!)
